FishFest 2007

Saturday I spent the day with one of my favoritest people for breakfast at Mimi's followed by a day of fun and sun at FishFest 2007. After a super yummy breakfast, MC and I headed to Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.

After a lot of waiting, a lot of sun, and a lot of uphill walking, we made it up to the lawn seating where we copped a squat close to center stage.

Jourdan and Joanna joined us a couple of hours later. I miss them! Since this was our second year in a row that the four of us have attended FishFest, we decided to make it a yearly tradition. =)

The music was awesome and it was great to put a face to the songs we hear on the radio and sing in church. The performers that we watched on the main stage were Jesse Daniels, Aaron Shust, Kutless, Chris Tomlin, Mercy Me, and Third Day. They definitely "Rocked my face off" ...hehehehe... I loved that there was a random mix of people taking in fellowship. For the first time they had a special message from Pastor Francis Chan. He's hilarious, I like his preaching style - entertaining, informative, and relatable.

The four of us did a lot of talking, laughing, and picture taking with LuLu. Actually Jourdan did most of the picture taking. Thanks for the pictures and photography tips, Jourdan!!!
