Hello Twenty Eleven!!

New Year. New Month. New Outlook. 2010 was full of ups, downs, and many changes. Overall 2010 was a fantastic year, and 2011 will be even better. This time last year I was a little crazy with the lists, the goals, the Project 365, and the words to focus on. While all those things are good, sometime around March I started losing focus and all those things were pushed aside. Throughout the year I continued to make lists and set goals, but like everything else, I eventually lost momentum. There were many projects started, but never finished. Goals were set, but never accomplished. Dreams were discussed, but never executed.

Twenty Eleven is going to be the year of DOING. I want to stop talking about it, and start doing it. So in order to *simplify* this whole resolution/list/goal-making thing, I am going to focus on 4 main resolutions this year.

#1 Move - I've got the diet thing pretty much down. The moving is where I'm struggling. For this year, I resolve to exercise 365 hours this year. Whether its walking, work-out videos, or pilates, I want to get moving this year. *I'm considering changing this to walk 2,000,000 steps this year. I just bought myself a pedometer to motivate me to move more. Once I figure out what is average for me, I will up that by 2,000 steps and multiply that by 365 and that will be my goal. woohoo!*

#2 Me Time - I work way too much. WAY TOO MUCH. By the time August rolls around, I'm completely burned out.  At that point I'm not only am I over working, I'm over doing any fun things outside of work. This year I resolve to take more me time. It does not have to be a long vacation somewhere, but I would benefit a great deal from taking a day or two off every now and then. This day would just be for me.

#3 Create - I have a craft supply habit. I can't seem to stop buying things and not using them. I need to stop hoarding things and start using them! My third resolution is to create more and use my craft supplies. Not only is creating fun, but its also very therapeutic for me. Making time to craft is going to be a priority for me this year.

#4 De-clutter - This is de-cluttering on multiple levels. With my upcoming move, I'm realizing that I have a lot of stuff that I need to purge. With my weight loss, I'm realizing that I have a lot clothes and fat/image issues that I need to let go of. With my current relationship status, I'm realizing there are fears that I need to get over. De-cluttering is a must this year.

Those are my basic resolutions this year. Of course I will continue with the mini monthly goals, because I can't resist making lists. hehe. The mini-goals will be geared towards my resolutions. So I will be back with my January goals soon. :)

Happy New Year!!
