Hello.

Well. Here I am (again) trying to dust of my little old blog (again). Instead of doing a recap of the past...too many years...Let me just kick of this blog reboot with an updated introduction.

Hello. I'm Corina, and I am....

a wife of almost 4 months to this guy. This is our first married selfie. It was taken in the groom's room right after we got married. We were waiting for our grand entrance to our reception. We may have already had a cocktail each. HAHA.

a homeowner of over a year to this house. We bought and moved into this house in December 2014. While this is technically our second Christmas in this house, we are treating it as our first Christmas. Last year at this time we were still unpacking boxes. I couldn't find my socks let alone all the Christmas decorations. This year we did it right. We put up the tree, lights, and other holiday decorations. It continues to be an exciting adventure making this house into our home. We have had our house dramas, and it has made us house-poor, but we love being in our "Wheelhouse"

an avid movie watcher. We go to the picture show at least once a week, twice on holiday weeks or if we get awesome free preview tickets. My mister and I have a passion for movies (him especially) and we try to see as many Oscar nominated films before the awards show. We have movies recording like crazy on our DVR and have amassed a huge Blu-Ray collection - most of which is still wrapped in shrink wrap (don't judge). Here we are checking out one of the new VIP theaters with recliners and way too small servings of food brought directly to your seat...

a human mama to this furbaby, Bubba. He's grumpy and cuddly at the same time.

a new plannergirl. Sometime in July, in the middle of wedding planning, house remodeling, busy season at work, and life, I had a melt down. There was just too much and I felt like I was drowning. I found the Purposeful Planner and the Simplicity Project and started making changes and having fun buying pretties for my planners - yes I have more than one. haha.

an engineer. I am not quite the work-a-holic that I was, but I still work a lot, at the same company as I have the past 12+ years. It's not my life's passion, but it keeps me busy and keeps food on the table and a place to keep said food and table. ;) I hope one day to parlay my mad engineering/organizing skills to something a bit more fun, but until then this is my life:

a Short-Hair-Don't-Care-Girl. I grew my hair out for my wedding. It was so long that I could almost sit on it. Two months after the wedding, I had it chopped all off. It was something I was thinking about doing for a long time and I'm so glad that I did. Its so much easier to take care of and style and for some reason it makes me feel more spunky and free.

There is definitely much more to me than this, and hopefully I will be able to stop by more often to share it with you. 2015 is coming to a close and boy was it one crazy good year. I can't wait to see what 2016 holds for us!
