Hello all. I know, I know....It's been a while. It's not so much because nothing has been happening, It's just because I haven't had the time to sit down and write as much as I want to these days. Between work and my social life on hyper-drive, some things have had to slide. Anyways, I'm back for the moment for a quick catch up while I do laundry, write out my grocery list, and before I start working..yes I said working. =/
Christmas was good. New Years was better. I spend New Years Eve with one of my favoritest people and then on New Years Day I saw my Trojans beat the Lions at the Rose Bowl Game. I found out that I passed my P.E. Exam! Did some fun celebrating with co-workers and friends. I had my taxes done...finally some benefits to being a homeowner! Now I'm just waiting for my state income tax refund.
In the beginning of February I went to Vegas with Val. It was fun. We stayed at the Flamingo. I finally went to Margaritaville and had one of those yard long margaritas! yum-o. On Valentines day I went out with Cheryl and some of her friends to a bar/club in Laguna. All the single ladies danced the night away. Sometime mid-February I gave in. After that long I didn't think I would in that way, but I did. I'm not ashamed because it would mean I did something wrong. I do have some regrets, but its all part of growing. I'm calling it a lesson learned. Ray threw Olivia a surprised Birthday Party. The morning after I realized I had caught that nasty bug that had been going around and around. I was on antibotics for over a week.
It is now mid-March and I'm no longer sick. I just got back from Vegas (yes again). This time I went with my brother, sister, and brother-in-law. It was fun. I ate too much, drank too much, and did not sleep enough. We went to FAO in the Forum Shops. I wanted to see Penelope, the sister of my Patrick. I was considering purchasing her...or a neck pillow shaped like an elephant. I ended up not buying either. Outside was a gelato "stand" with all these fancy gelato flavors. I tasted the snickers and decided to get a medium cup (which was about the size of a small scoop of ice cream). My sister got a medium cup of cookies n' creme. We went inside to the cashier and saw the sign that said they were $10 each. They had about 7 sizes. The smallest was $8, the largest was $46. WTF. $46 for gelato...
Throughout my many adventures I have been meeting people and being out there. There have been a few...and now...now I believe I have lost a dear friend. I still dream about the other friend. I want so badly to connect with a new friend. I think I've gained a new blah-friend.
